Carl-Emmanuel Fisbach Saxophonist

Module Quartet

Module Saxophone Quartet brings together saxophonists of four different nationalities - American, Australia, French & German - graduates of the superior national conservatoires of Paris, Basel & Vienna.  The work of the ensemble encompasses close collaboration with composers to create and premiere new repertoire as well as interpreting existing contemporary works. These interpretations are informed by the depth and breadth of experience held by each of Module's members in the field of new music, each of them having worked with leading composers across Europe, North America, Asia & Australia. The ensembles repertoire includes works such as Franco Donatoni's Rasch, Hector Parra's Fragments Striées & Etchings by Michael Kuehn.

Module appeared this year in Paris and in Vienna and several concert tours (Switzerland, Austria) and premieres (Wen Liu, Tomasz Skweres) are in preparation for the 2014-2015 season. (06/2013)
